November 24, 2011 -  The cabinets of relay protection and automation system of units No21-24 and block No6 of Kanevskaya HPP  have   passed the factory acceptance tests under ENPASELECTRO`s obligation owed to "Ukrhydroenergo" PJSC under the project "Reconstruction of control  and electrical protection systems of the hydropower plants".

November 08, 2011 - Within the framework of the  project "Construction of 750 kV OHL Zaporizhzhya NPP - substation Kakhovskaya" the working visit of the ENPASELECTRO`s specialists  to the SS 750 kV Kievskaya (Kiev region) has been held for the purpose familiarization. This substation was put into operation in December, 2008. For the first time the automatic start-up of all process control systems (APCS) with control of all switching devices from the substation control center and surveillance of the state of technological equipment have been applied at the facility.

November 05, 2011 -  The agreement with GOPA-intec GmbH. (Germany) on the joint provision of consultant`s services for NPC “Ukrenergo” was signed under the project "Construction of 750 kV OHL Zaporizhzhya NPP - substation Kakhovskaya", which funded by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and European Investment Bank. The scope of ENPASELECTRO`s services consists of assistance to drawing up the technical specification of the tender documentation for construction of SS 750 kV Kakhovskaya, reconstruction of SS 330 kV Ostrovskaya and Kherson.

November 02-05, 2011 -  Specialists of the Control System Department were trained on software program e-terrasource at the training center of ALSTOM Grid (ALSTOM Grid TECHNICAL INSTITUTE, Massy, France). Program is intended for database modeling system e-terraplatform in accordance with standards IEC 61970-3 & 61968-11: Common Information Model (Common Information Model).

September 21, 201 -  Engineers of the Relay Protection&Automation Department and Technological Automatics Department have performed an adjustment of control system and electrical protection system of unit No12 (block No3) at the  Kievskaya HPP, which has been connected to the grid successfully.

September, 2011 -  Engineers of the Relay Protection&Automation Department and Technological Automatics Department jointly with staff of Dnestrovskaya HPP have performed complex tests and commissioning of electrical protection device REL670 of 330 kV OHT line Dnester HPP - Dnester HPSP which manufactured by ABB.

September 21, 2011 - September 21, 2011 – On the 5-th  International Conference of hydropower engineers "Sustainable development of hydropower as a basis for stable development of the state", which was held on the initiative of the Ukrainian Association "Ukrhydroenergo" (Kiev, International Exhibition Centre, IX forum "Ukraine's Energy: Present and Future" ) reported: the head of Control System Department Mr. Denisenko on the topic: "The participation of Ukrhydroenergo`s hydroelectric units  in automatic power and frequency control system of Interconnected Power System of Ukraine", as well as the leading specialist of Technological Automatics Department Mr. Torzhevsky - "Vibration monitoring and vibrodiagnostics of hydroelectric units – structure features”.

August 19-30, 2011 -  Specialists of the Relay Protection and Automation Department and Control System Department have completed successful training on MicroSCADA programming course at the ABB`s training centre (Vaasa, Finland).

August 22-24, 2011 -  Specialists of the Control System Department have performed the workpackage   to the resetting  efficiency of CIS-1 server of  CENTRALOG control system at   Dneprodzerzhinskaya HPP.

April 18-29, 2011 - Specialists of the Control System Department and  Technological Automatics have completed successful training on programming of software and hardware complex Ovation controllers produced by Emerson (USA), development of graphic interface and administration of Ovation system.

April 11-15, 2011 – Engineers of the Relay Protection&Automation Department have completed training program on the maintenance and programming at the Alstom`s Grid training center (Moscow).

April 14, 2011 – The annual meeting of Enpaselectros` members was held at the office of Company. The progress report 2010 was discussed by members of the meeting, which was spoken by Director General Y. Bondarenko, the annual progress report and annual balance of Company for the previous year were approved. The positive result of implementation of control and electrical protection systems of unit No.1 at Dnestrovskaya HPSPP  was observed.  Control system was produced on base of hardware complex Ovation, which supplied under the contract by the LLC Emerson (Russia). The members of meeting have evaluated work of Company under the Project of modernization and extension of dispatch control system SCADA for NPC «Ukrenergo» jointly with Alstom. The participation of the Company in the second stage of reconstruction of Ukrhydroenergo`s HPPs, which financed by the World Bank under the Hydropower Rehabilitation Project, was discussed particularly. The following priority tasks for  2011 were identified: • Continuation of works for the commissioning of units No2 and No3 at the Dnestrovskaya HPSPP  ; •  Implementation the Project "Supply and implementation of control and electrical protection systems for hydropower plants" within the framework of the second stage of reconstruction of Ukrhydroenergo`s hydropower plants; • Performance of work under the second stage of the project of modernization and extension of the dispatch control system  SCADA for NPC «Ukrenergo».

March 17, 2011 – STC ENPASELECTRO has participated in the regular meeting of Presidium of Association “Ukrhydroenergo” and in the General meeting of members of All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Ukrainian committee on large dams” in Kharkov.

Basil Kolko was re-elected as President of the  " Energy Association of Ukraine ", and  Alexander Rogozin (Vice- President of National Joint-Stock Company “Energy Company of Ukraine ") -  as Vice-president  of this public organization. Yuri Bondarenko - General Director of STC ENPASELECTRO " was also re-elected to the Presidium.

March 15, 2011 – The bid «Rehabilitation of substations in the Dnieper Power Grid» under Power Transmission Project, which was funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, has been opened at the main office of NPC «Ukrenergo». Contract for rendering of consultants’ services in procurement and project management was signed in February 2009 between NPC “Ukrenergo” and Consortium of GOPA-intec (Germany) and “STC ENPASELECTRO” Ltd. Power transmission project (PTP-project) consists of the following components: Component  A: Rehabilitation of transmission substations, including replacement of outdated high voltage equipment and installation of modern protective relaying and substation automation systems in (i) three 330 kV substations in the Dnieper electric power grid (Pervomayskaya, Dniprodzerzhinskaya, Yuzhnaya); (ii) one 330 kV and one 220 kV substation in the Donbas electric power grid (Chaykino – 330 and Azovskaya -220); and (iii) seven 750 kV substations (Vinnitskaya, Zapadnoukrainskaya, Dnerprovskaya, Donbasskaya, Yuzhnoukrainskaya, Zaporozhskaya, Yuzhnodonbasskaya). Component B: Strengthening of transmission network, including expansion of the existing 330 kV Bar substation and construction of the 330 kV transmission line to connect Bar substation with the Dniester PSP. Component  C:  Stabilization of the Crimea Electric Power Grid, including upgrading of the existing 220 kV substation Simferopolskaya  and upgrading of substation control systems  in the Crimea electric power grid.

February 14-18, 2011 – Specialists of the Technological Automatics Department and Control System Department were trained on “Engineering of Automatic process control systems in TRACE MODE v.6  the development of the Control System and are qualified as certified TRACE MODE engineer.

February 17, 2011 – Engineers of the Control System Department of STC ENPASELECTRO together with specialists of ALSTOM Grid (Areva T&D) and specialists of NPC “Ukrenergo” have started up the updated dispatch control system SCADA/AGC, which based on e-terraplatform 2.5 and Equipment Management System (SMS, Samara), which operate with Outage Request Processing Software

February 15, 2011 - Company ENPASELECTRO has signed the additional agreement to the Contract between ENPASELECTRO and  «Emerson» LLC for  replacement of UkrHydroEnergo’  hydro dispatching center control   system (HDCS) and water regimes management system (WMS). The Hydro Dispatching Control system (HDCS) shall be a system designed to supervise and control Hydro Power Plants (HPPs), record and report necessary operational details, obtain and process data into information, and allow central and remote control of the HPPs.

February 14, 2010  – «Science and technology company ENPASELECTRO» Ltd. has commemorated the 17th anniversary of its activity on the power energy market.

December 30, 2010 – Specialists of STC ENPASELECTRO and specialists of Energopartner Engineering company jointly with engineers of CHPP-5 of KievEnergo JSC have completed installation and commissioning works of the Bay-5 DRG at the 6 kV Switchgear. The electrical protection device REM615 produced by ABB has been applied as electrical protection of the electric motor.

December 13-17, 2010 –  Performance of adjustment of operation algorithm of unit No.1 at  Dnestrovskaya HPSPP in the synchronous condenser operation mode with pumping rotational direction.

December 15, 2010 - «Science and technology company ENPASELECTRO» Ltd. has signed the Contract agreement with EMERSON Company (Representative office of EMERSON Ltd. in Ukraine) for design, supply, testing, erection and commissioning of the facilities of the control and relay protection system (SCADA) of Hydro Power Plants of OJSC “UkrHydroEnergo”. The Contract agreement was signed within the framework of Hydropowerplants’  rehabilitation project, funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. After completion of the works, control and protection systems at 100 hydropower units of OJSC Ukrhydroenergos’ hydropower plants will be upgraded.

December 6, 2010 – The unit No. 9 of Block No. 3 of Kiev HPP after reconstruction has been connected to the grid. New control system based on the GE Fanuc 90-30 controller, new electrical protection system based on the MiCOM P343 device, produced by AREVA T&D,  new synchronizer SYN, produced by ABB have been implemented. Engineers of STC ENPASELECTRO are carrying commissioning of the unit-level control system and electrical protection system of hydro power unit No. 12 of Block No. 3 of Kiev HPP.

December 2, 2010 – The sets of main electrical protection and emergency automation system of 330 kV OHT line Dnester HPP - Dnester HPSP have been started up after completion of installation and commissioning works. The main differential protection has been implemented with the application of the L90 device, produced by GE Industrial Systems.

November 2, 2010 – After auditing by BUREAU VERITAS Enpaselectro’s  Quality Management System, which has been introduced since 2006, is recognized to be in compliance with  the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and continued until 2012.

October 26, 2010 – Unit-level control system checkout is accomplished after installation of the new excitation system, produced by Alstom (France), at the  unit No. 5 of Dnestr HPP.

October 7, 2010 – Specialists of STC ENPASELECTRO together with engineers of CHPP-5  of KievEnergo JSC have completed adjustment works on the automation and control system of 10-kV SF6 generator circuit breaker, type FKG2M, produced by AREVA. TG-1 turbogenerator at CHPP-5 has been connected to the grid.

September 2010 – Specialists of the Relay Protection and Automation Department of STC ENPASELECTRO have completed training on educational program "Substation- and plant-level relay protection and automation devices" at the Non-state educational institution Science- and – educational Centre "Ekra" (Cheboksary, Russian Federation). In the result of this training, our specialists have obtained the right to perform precommissioning and commissioning of line and generator protection devices produced by Scientific and production enterprise "Ekra".

August 2010 – Engineers of STC ENPASELECTRO have commenced erection and commissioning of electrical equipment at the HPP–2 being constructed on river Tolmachova in Kamchatskiy Krai (Russian Federation). HPP Cascade on river Tolmachova is Kamchatka's unique hydropower site located in the southern volcanic part pf Kamchatka peninsula, 60 km away from the settlement of Apacha of Ust-Bolsheretskiy District. It has been designed by the LeninGidroProyekt Institute to incorporate the latest achievements in the field of power industry. The Cascade's power plants are equipped with modern equipment; automation, control and protection systems are microprocessor-based. As of today, construction of two Cascade's power plants has been completed: HPP-1 with capacity of 2.2 MW has been commissioned in 1999, and HPP-3 with installed capacity of 18.4 MW has been commissioned in 2000. At the present time, the Cascade's power plants have completely covered the electricity demand of Ust-Bolsheretskiy District. Simultaneously with operation of HPP-1 and HPP-3, the construction of HPP-2 is in progress.

August 22-27, 2010 – During this period, International Council on Large Electrical Systems  CIGRE held its 43rd Session in Paris (France). STC ENPASELECTRO's delegation took part in the meetings of CIGRE Study Committees, CIGRE Working Groups as well as CIGRE General Assembly and Seminar "Large System Blackouts".

August 19, 2010 – Specialists of the Control System Department of STC ENPASELECTRO together with AREVA T&D engineers (France), in the National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" have successfully tested the automatic power and frequency control system (AGC) on the basis of advanced SCADA/AGC/EMS system, involving Dneprovskaya HPP-1 for power and frequency control in the grid.

July 2010 – STC ENPASELECTRO has determined its intentions to take part in the international bidding announced by OJSC "UkrGidroEnergo" for design, supply and installation of HPP switchyard electrical protection system of the Customer.

July 21–22, 2010 – ENPASELECTRO JSC, Ukainian National Committee of International Council on Large Electrical Systems  CIGRE jointly with the Emergency Automation and Industrial Control Section of the Relay Protection and Automation Experts Council of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine have held the meeting of the "Relay Protection and Emergency Automation" Comittee at Dnestrovskaya HPSPP in Novodnestrovsk. The seminar's and session's agenda included sharing know-how in the following fields: relay protection, emergency automation and control system complex of Dnestrovskaya HPSPP (voltage control system / generator-motor No. 1, 330-kV SF6 switchgear); relay protection, emergency automation and control system complex of SS 750 kV "Kievskaya"; implementation of emergency automation system project for Southern Section; Crimean Grid automation system requirements in the framework of the Transmission Project financed by the World Bank; information on NEC Ukrenergo's projects on reconstruction of 330 kV Substations, 750 kV Substations and APFC system.

March 2010 – New control and electrical protection systems for hydro power units No. 10 and 11 (22 MW each) and unit No. 3 of Kiev HPP have been commissioned. Commissioning of the unit-level control system and electrical protection system of hydro power units No. 9 and 12 is in progress, to result in the completeness of new control and protection system of unit No. 3 of Kievskaya HPP.
