December 30, 2010 – Specialists of STC ENPASELECTRO and specialists of Energopartner Engineering company jointly with engineers of CHPP-5 of KievEnergo JSC have completed installation and commissioning works of the Bay-5 DRG at the 6 kV Switchgear. The electrical protection device REM615 produced by ABB has been applied as electrical protection of the electric motor. |

December 15, 2010 - «Science and technology company ENPASELECTRO» Ltd. has signed the Contract agreement with EMERSON Company (Representative office of EMERSON Ltd. in Ukraine) for design, supply, testing, erection and commissioning of the facilities of the control and relay protection system (SCADA) of Hydro Power Plants of OJSC “UkrHydroEnergo”. The Contract agreement was signed within the framework of Hydropowerplants’ rehabilitation project, funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. After completion of the works, control and protection systems at 100 hydropower units of OJSC Ukrhydroenergos’ hydropower plants will be upgraded. | |

December 6, 2010 – The unit No. 9 of Block No. 3 of Kiev HPP after reconstruction has been connected to the grid. New control system based on the GE Fanuc 90-30 controller, new electrical protection system based on the MiCOM P343 device, produced by AREVA T&D, new synchronizer SYN, produced by ABB have been implemented. Engineers of STC ENPASELECTRO are carrying commissioning of the unit-level control system and electrical protection system of hydro power unit No. 12 of Block No. 3 of Kiev HPP. | |

December 2, 2010 – The sets of main electrical protection and emergency automation system of 330 kV OHT line Dnester HPP - Dnester HPSP have been started up after completion of installation and commissioning works. The main differential protection has been implemented with the application of the L90 device, produced by GE Industrial Systems. | |

November 2, 2010 – After auditing by BUREAU VERITAS Enpaselectro’s Quality Management System, which has been introduced since 2006, is recognized to be in compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and continued until 2012. | |

October 26, 2010 – Unit-level control system checkout is accomplished after installation of the new excitation system, produced by Alstom (France), at the unit No. 5 of Dnestr HPP. | |

October 7, 2010 – Specialists of STC ENPASELECTRO together with engineers of CHPP-5 of KievEnergo JSC have completed adjustment works on the automation and control system of 10-kV SF6 generator circuit breaker, type FKG2M, produced by AREVA. TG-1 turbogenerator at CHPP-5 has been connected to the grid. | |

September 2010 – Specialists of the Relay Protection and Automation Department of STC ENPASELECTRO have completed training on educational program "Substation- and plant-level relay protection and automation devices" at the Non-state educational institution Science- and – educational Centre "Ekra" (Cheboksary, Russian Federation). In the result of this training, our specialists have obtained the right to perform precommissioning and commissioning of line and generator protection devices produced by Scientific and production enterprise "Ekra". | |

August 2010 – Engineers of STC ENPASELECTRO have commenced erection and commissioning of electrical equipment at the HPP–2 being constructed on river Tolmachova in Kamchatskiy Krai (Russian Federation).
HPP Cascade on river Tolmachova is Kamchatka's unique hydropower site located in the southern volcanic part pf Kamchatka peninsula, 60 km away from the settlement of Apacha of Ust-Bolsheretskiy District. It has been designed by the LeninGidroProyekt Institute to incorporate the latest achievements in the field of power industry. The Cascade's power plants are equipped with modern equipment; automation, control and protection systems are microprocessor-based.
As of today, construction of two Cascade's power plants has been completed: HPP-1 with capacity of 2.2 MW has been commissioned in 1999, and HPP-3 with installed capacity of 18.4 MW has been commissioned in 2000. At the present time, the Cascade's power plants have completely covered the electricity demand of Ust-Bolsheretskiy District. Simultaneously with operation of HPP-1 and HPP-3, the construction of HPP-2 is in progress. | |

STC ENPASELECTRO's delegation took part in the meetings of CIGRE Study Committees, CIGRE Working Groups as well as CIGRE General Assembly and Seminar "Large System Blackouts". | |

August 19, 2010 – Specialists of the Control System Department of STC ENPASELECTRO together with AREVA T&D engineers (France), in the National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" have successfully tested the automatic power and frequency control system (AGC) on the basis of advanced SCADA/AGC/EMS system, involving Dneprovskaya HPP-1 for power and frequency control in the grid. | |

July 2010 – STC ENPASELECTRO has determined its intentions to take part in the international bidding announced by OJSC "UkrGidroEnergo" for design, supply and installation of HPP switchyard electrical protection system of the Customer. |

July 21–22, 2010 – ENPASELECTRO JSC, Ukainian National Committee of International Council on Large Electrical Systems CIGRE jointly with the Emergency Automation and Industrial Control Section of the Relay Protection and Automation Experts Council of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine have held the meeting of the "Relay Protection and Emergency Automation" Comittee at Dnestrovskaya HPSPP in Novodnestrovsk. The seminar's and session's agenda included sharing know-how in the following fields: relay protection, emergency automation and control system complex of Dnestrovskaya HPSPP (voltage control system / generator-motor No. 1, 330-kV SF6 switchgear); relay protection, emergency automation and control system complex of SS 750 kV "Kievskaya"; implementation of emergency automation system project for Southern Section; Crimean Grid automation system requirements in the framework of the Transmission Project financed by the World Bank; information on NEC Ukrenergo's projects on reconstruction of 330 kV Substations, 750 kV Substations and APFC system. |
